Climate Change, environmental devestation, population decline, failing energy and raw-material resources. So what world, what Hungary will we leave to our children?

Sustainable development is about securing our common values and the chance for the pursuit of happines for the next generations. Hungary has recently made a serious step: in March 2013 the National Assembly unanimously accepted the the National Sustainable Development Strategy Framework, an action plan for the long-term subsistene of the Hungarian Nation.

What is the strategy about?

Every strategy’s value is measured in what is realized of it. Thus the parlament called upon the governement to establish a board of state secretaries to ensure the execution and realization of this strategy framework. The board is also responsible for the coordination of govermental decisions on issues concerning sustainable develpoment.
